Wilson is a Volunteer Farmer and who we jokingly refer to as our Chief Problem Solver. Do you remember “The Wolf“ from Pulp Fiction? He’s the guy who gets called in to solve really complicated problems. Well Wilson is our equivalent of The Wolf for Anderson’s Neck Oyster Company. Need a medieval looking mobile Oyster Hoister to lift 850 pound oyster cages on a 5 foot wide dock? Need a solar powered Oysterplex with a built-in floating upweller system that needs to run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and is networked in to the Internet for continuous monitoring? No problem. Wilson will devise an elegant yet functional solution to a complicated problem that would otherwise require a Rube Goldberg like design. Plus, the guy is fun to hang out with after a long day of working oyster cages. Ladies, did we mention he was single?

The Hild family finds itself today with the honor of being the current stewards of Anderson’s Neck. Their shared love of nature brought them to “The Neck” where they have taken on the incredible challenge to revive the estate as a functioning oyster farm.
