Oysters are sharp little suckers and you need gloves when handling them. These are the same gloves we wear out on the farm as well as when we are shucking. The protection of the latex dipped palm and the dexterity of the knit backing provides the best of both worlds. We find these much easier to work with than the bulky, inflexible space-suit like gloves you sometimes see on the market. Remember boys and girls, always, always shuck with protection.
